Team Ikuzawa are honoured to team-up with Loopwheeler - the grand-master maker of the best sweatshirts in the world from Japan. The art of perfecting the simple cotton sweatshirt.
A fellow Porsche racer and collector Satoshi Suzuki founded Loopwheeler in 1999.
Speed is not everything and Suzuki-san’s traditional tsuriami loopwheel machines can only produce 7 or 8 sweatshirts per day.
When you feel Loopwheeler’s soft thick fabric and shape against your skin, you know this is based on years of masterful craftsmanship and against all temptation to scale up or go into volume production.
The initial idea was to introduce these new urban dark tones to Team Ikuzawa but it was also our mission to find the best producer. And here we are. We hope you enjoy them as much as we have producing them.
